Around May 4th, Star Wars Day, Microsoft launched a competition. There are twelve different Lego Star Wars-style Xbox Series S and controllers up for grabs.

The next-gen consoles Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S have been available on the market since November 2020 – at least in theory. Due to the effects of the global corona pandemic and the resulting global shortage of semiconductors, the video game consoles can only be ordered occasionally. In keeping with Star Wars Day, May 4th, Microsoft has announced that twelve differently designed Xbox Series S will be distributed free of charge.

All consoles sport a look inspired by the nine films of the Skywalker saga. There are custom designs for the Lego Star Wars figures BB-8, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Dart Maul, Darth Vader, Finn, Kylo Ren, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Rey, Stromtrooper and Yoda. In the box next to the console is a suitably designed Xbox controller.

How to get a free Xbox Series S

To get one of the exclusively designed Microsoft consoles, you must be over 18 and active online on the Xbox Network. In addition, Microsoft wants you to reposted this tweet on Twitter including the relevant hashtags. Must be a follower of the official Xbox Twitter account for at least seven days. That Sweepstakes ends May 31st. You can only enter the raffle once per Twitter user account and per person. All winners will be contacted directly via message on Twitter within 14 days of the close of the draw.
