Briefly informed: Intel has updated the WLAN and also the Bluetooth driver for Windows 10 and Windows 11 to the new version 22.140.0. Some corrections have been made in each case. As a highlight: Bluetooth 5.3 is now supported with the new driver.
Intel WiFi (WLAN) 22.140.0
- A loss of network connectivity (Windows Event ID 5002 and 5005) occurs on Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 wireless adapters
- When certain mobile phones that support 802.11ax speed rates connect to a mobile hotspot, the Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 wireless adapter may connect at 802.11ac speed rates instead of 802.11ax speed rates
- Throughput degradation is observed when using Dual BSS when streaming 4k video over Bluetooth headset on Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX411 adapters
Bluetooth 22.140.0
- As of software version 22.140.0, the following Intel wireless products are compatible with Bluetooth 5.3:
Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210, Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211, Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX411 (Notes. This will not enable new features until the Windows OS supports Bluetooth 5.3 features). - On some systems, if a specific headset is turned off and then back on, the device will show as “paired” instead of “connected”.
- On some systems, beeps may be heard after closing the lid or going to sleep on certain laptops on battery power and with the headset plugged in.
- Audio may not work on some systems connected to certain Bluetooth speakers.
- The Intel Wireless Bluetooth 22.140.0 driver has been updated to include functional updates. Users should update to the latest version.
