In connection with Apple today showing off new Macs at its developer conference WWDC, they also showed off the next version of macOS. It will be called Ventura, a famous coastal city in the US state of California.
The biggest news in macOS Ventura that Apple presented today was the new organizational tool “Stage Manager”. With the tool, it will be possible to get the app you are working in at the moment in focus while other apps are grouped in a tab system on the left of the screen. You can check out an example of what Stage Manager in macOS Ventura looks like below.
Apple’s smooth Spotlight feature has also received some updates in macOS Ventura. Spotlight will now be able to find images of the user’s photo library, texts in images and various shortcuts.
Apple has not stated when it plans to start rolling out macOS Ventura, but it will probably happen sometime this fall.
