IT House June 7 news, Apple today released the new MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro models equipped with the new M2 chip.
On the occasion of the launch of the new M2 MacBook Air, Apple raised the price of the MacBook in Japan by more than 10%, considering the weak yen and rising raw material costs.
According to Japanese official website pricing,The MacBook Air with the earlier M1 processor starts at 134,800 yen (about 6,774 yuan), up from 115,280 yen (about 5,833.17 yuan). The new 13-inch MacBook Pro starts at 178,800 yen (about 8,985 yuan), which was previously 148,280 yen (about 7,502.97 yuan). The starting price of the 14-inch MacBook Pro is 274,800 yen (about 13,810 yuan), which was previously 239,800 yen (about 12,133.88 yuan). The new Apple Japan M2 MacBook Air starts at 164,800 yen (about 8,338.88 yuan).
Apple has turned to Apple Silicon chips across the board in its MacBook lineup.
