Two Ukrainian mothers who fled to Bavaria with their children to escape Russia’s invasion were among the five who died in a weekend train accident in the southern German town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A fifth fatality was a 14-year-old boy from the region, Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann told Bavarian radio on Monday. One person’s life is still in danger.
