The Polaris Convention in Hamburg opens exhibitor registration and announces the first creators.
Under the code name “Polaris”, the new community event in the North attracted attention for the first time in March 2022. The name has stuck and from the code name: Polaris will now officially become the Polaris Convention, which will premiere from October 28th to 30th, 2022 in the Hamburg exhibition halls. The Polaris Convention is a community event that makes games, creators, eSports, Japanese pop culture, but also cosplay and artists accessible to a wide audience. As organizers, Hamburg Messe und Congress are working together with RCADIA and Super Crowd to create a series of eSports tournaments, an online game suitable for the convention and a program on the streaming website Twitch in addition to the three-day community convention.
It is already certain that there has never been an event of this magnitude in the Hanseatic city before. And that has consequences: the first well-known creators have already confirmed their participation. They are excited to help shape the first iteration of Hamburg’s “Community Universe”. Among them are well-known figures such as PietSmiet, DoktorFroid, Dennsen86, FisHC0p, Mowky, Farbenfuchs, EOS Andy, JennYan, Ninotaku and Maul Cosplay, who also represent the areas of anime, Japan and cosplay in addition to gaming topics.
