IT House June 7 news, recently, Lenovo Group announced the full-year and fourth-quarter results of the 21/22 fiscal year. Subsequently, Liu Jun, executive vice president of Lenovo Group and president of China, also disclosed the performance information of Lenovo China in an internal email:In the 21/22 fiscal year, the turnover increased steadily by 28% year-on-year, and the contribution profit increased by 36% year-on-year.

IT House has learned that Lenovo’s 3S business (3S refers to “smart products, intelligent infrastructure and solution services”) continues to improve, with revenue accounting for more than 25%, and a new IT full-stack service capability has been initially formed, which will further improve Lenovo China. The transformation and development has laid a good foundation. A number of incubation businesses have grown resiliently, and the performance of the second growth engine has gradually emerged. Among them, the infrastructure business increased its revenue by 19% in the fiscal year and achieved profitability; the solution service business achieved a milestone breakthrough of RMB 10 billion in booking (invoicing) revenue for the first time.

In terms of PC business, under the continuous guidance of the “customer-centric” transformation strategy, the performance was stable, and the PC sales market share and sales market share reached a record high, reaching 39.7% and 42.6% respectively.

Difficulties and opportunities coexist, Lenovo China still maintains resilient growth, as follows:

  • SS (Solution Services Business): FY21/22, the milestone Booking revenue of RMB 10 billion was achieved, a year-on-year increase of 42%. The ServiceForce platform has accumulated nearly one million work orders. The solution service has won more than 100 benchmark projects such as “Beijing Summer Palace Smart Tourism”.

  • SI (Intelligent Infrastructure Business): FY21/22 revenue increased by 19% year-on-year, and servers ranked fourth in the Chinese market. High-performance computing ranked the top 100 champion in China with 40 sets. The business was profitable for the full fiscal year.

  • SD (smart product business): FY21/22 revenue increased by 80% year-on-year, commercial tablets ranked first in the market for five consecutive quarters, and the consumer tablet market ranked in the top three; consumer IoT and commercial IoT smart products ranked first. Revenue increased by 58% and 124% respectively year-on-year; intelligent edge rapidly expanded in medical, retail and financial industries; education large screen achieved a three-fold year-on-year growth; daily sales of mobile phones doubled.

  • PC business: In FY21/22, both sales and sales continued to hit new highs, especially in the mid-to-high-end market and market segments. For example, the market share of notebook sales over US$800 increased by 11% year-on-year; mobile workstations ( MWS) continued to be the champion, sales doubled, and market share increased by 7 percentage points year-on-year.

Liu Jun said that in the new fiscal year, we must closely follow the wave of China’s intelligent transformation, focus on promoting the development of 3S through innovation, form more innovative products, solutions and services, create value for customers, and contribute to the promotion of China’s economy. .
