It is now known how long the Summer Game Fest will keep you busy. Geoff Keighley also announced that games that have already been announced will be presented. The organizer throttled the expectations a little.

Geoff Keighley is hosting his annual Summer Game Fest next Thursday. It starts at 8 p.m. Central European Time.

Now that we’ve learned which studios and publishers are participating, more details are available. The organizer announced via Twitter that the show between 90 and 120 minutes will take. However, the actual length cannot be determined because it is a live event. In addition, several guests have an appearance. If you want to watch the entire show, you should plan a full two hours.

The program should once again be wide-ranging. Both AAA titles, indie productions and world premieres are presented to the public. But you shouldn’t expect too many surprises: According to Keighley, the show focuses on games that have already been announced. Among them, however, are many projects for which little or nothing has been seen so far.

Also, people shouldn’t set their expectations too high. Keighley himself has heard some rumors that are just plain “crazy”. The Canadian gaming journalist does not promise you the blue of the sky.

“Beware of crazy rumours”

“It’s not the Game Awards. We have a lot of good stuff that we’re going to show you, but beware of the crazy rumors I’m seeing out there about what people expect from announcements,” Geoff Keighley clarifies.

A few games that will appear at the event are already known. Below is a brief overview:

In any case, the Polish development studio is part of the partner line-up and will therefore be involved. We will find out on Thursday evening whether the suspected new horror edition is really behind it.
