As our colleagues from gaming pca few days ago, the CEO of Nightdive Studiosthe remaster developers of full of 90s FPS (Quake, System Shock, Powerslave…), tweeted this unambiguous message:
After our Quake Remaster @therealcliffyb reached out to @TimSweeneyEpic on our behalf hoping we could give Unreal the same treatment…and I guess if you want that leave a message to let Tim know https://t.co/nM1KInSNvI

“After our Quake remaster @therealcliffyb reached out to @TimSweeneyEpic on our behalf, hoping we could give Unreal the same treatment…and I guess if you want it, drop a message for Tim to let him know…”
As a reminder, Cliff Bleszinski is one of the co-creators of Unreal games, but also of resounding flops like LawBreakers, or the pitiful Radical Heights. It nevertheless retains a certain weight in the industry. Opposite, Tim Sweeney is none other than the CEO of Epic Games and holder of the license rights. For the moment, no information can be disclosed for legal reasons, according to Cliff B.
Released in 1998, Unreal is a single-player game that was very well received by critics, among other things thanks to its impressive graphics engine for the time, and which will be the basis of a good part of the following video games. As with Quake, it is assumed that there will be a good base of nostalgic players ready to jump back into the adventure.
