Nothing happened to the app.

Since the beginning of spring, our habits of interaction with banks have seriously changed. Personally, what hit me the most was that some of their apps were no longer available on the App Store and Google Play. And if the latter issue is already being resolved thanks to the Ministry of Digital Development and VK, then in the world of Apple and the App Store, everything is much more complicated with this.

One day I will change the iPhone to a new model, and then I will have to try to download the clients of the banks I need again. Buyers of new “apple” devices have no choice but to use inconvenient browser versions.

The Tinkoff application stands apart from this. It is available everywhere, whether iOS or Android, was not blocked and works as before. Even if a terrible thing happens to a smartphone, then on the new one I’ll go to the store in the same way and download the client. From this, the soul is calmer.

It was the fastest way to get WORLD

When the situation in the world began to heat up, I ordered the MIR card. Time quickly proved that the decision was correct. For a long time later, I used both the card and Apple Pay without any fears and restrictions, which I wrote about repeatedly.

Those who did not have time to switch to MIR in advance and used Visa with Mastercard almost everywhere faced a shortage of “blanks” and a huge waiting time. Moreover, almost everywhere you have to go to the office to get a card …

With Tinkoff, everything is much simpler. You order “plastic” directly in the application, and in a few days (sometimes – the very next!) You will be delivered free of charge to any address. Zero labor costs.

Example. On the morning of February 25, my wife issued an additional Tinkoff Black card with the MIR payment system. It took less than 30 seconds in the bank application. It could immediately be added to Apple Pay, used to pay for purchases on the Internet. And the plastic itself was brought home the next (!) Day, February 26th.

On the same day I issued a MIR card, but only from another bank. Do you know when the map was ready? 2nd of March. They did it for a week … And you have to go to the office, which is 45 minutes from me on foot. And which sometimes works until 14:00. Haven’t taken it yet.

Getting a MIR card from Tinkoff turned out to be the most convenient for me personally. Even now, in addition to the standard black card, you can order with Rick and Morty. What if order before the end of Juneyou don’t have to pay for its service. Never.

Support solves problems and even helped with a refund

Tinkoff has always pleased with the fact that in order to resolve issues do not call and even more so to go to the branch. I went into the chat, solved the problem in a couple of minutes, closed it satisfied.

Smart assistant Oleg and support staff are able to process 99% of requests, saving time and nerves. Fresh history. Placed an order at a large pizzeria. Got an error on their site after payment. The money was debited, but the order was not created. It worked the second time, but the pizzeria did not cancel the first write-off.

The bot recognized my message, showed a convenient interface for selecting a problematic transaction from the list of all recent ones, and sent a notification that the request was accepted for processing. Then Tinkoff support asked for proofs of the order, clarified the details and set a return date. The status of the case is now displayed in a separate chat in the menu.

This is not the first time I have contacted the support chat with a request to cancel the charge or return the money. For example, they helped me a lot at the end of 2021, when one service decided to take 7 thousand rubles ahead of the subscription period, although I turned off auto-renewal. Communication with a support employee took no more than 5 minutes and settled in my favor.

In addition to refunds, support has always helped me and has never left me unanswered – even when I wrote at night, on weekends or holidays. When you communicate with employees, you feel a real desire to solve the issue, and not a chain of copy-paste “scripts” from a text file.

What’s up with cashbacks in 2022?

Now I have access to 227 offers with cashback from Tinkoff partners. In the application, you can see in advance where, how much they offer and under what conditions. For example, for spending in a bookstore “Read-city” 10% of the purchase amount will be returned to my card, the same amount for booking a hotel in OneTwoTrip and for three purchases in the car sharing service Delimobil.

Not only was the price low, but out of the blue, I saved 10% of the cost, because I paid for the order of Tinkoff Black. Another 400 rubles came a little later for the purchase of a drink of a particular brand. Because yes, there is an increased cashback here even for certain goods in the receipt.

Once a month, you can select four categories of expenses for which an increased cashback will be credited. Now I have taxis, pharmacies, entertainment and up to 1% for all purchases. Last month, there were definitely 3% for Pyaterochka.

In April, the state reduced the percentage for accepting non-cash payments for the purchase of goods from key categories. Because of this, in Tinkoff and other banks, the basic cashback for purchases from these categories decreased from 1% to 0.5%. Someone was outraged. But I didn’t notice the real effect of this decision. On the contrary, every month they return as much, if not more, than before. Because special offers are “taken out”.

There are more services and “chips”, but managing all this is still convenient

At Tinkoff, I now have three Tinkoff Black cards, two of which are MIR. There is also a multi-currency account, to which I can connect (and replenish) an account in dozens of popular world currencies in seconds.

In addition to cards, there is a savings account. I throw money there for purchases planned in the future. To keep the interest accumulating. IIS is here too. And the balance of the IP account. And the balance of three Tinkoff Mobile mobile numbers that I sometimes use via eSIM.

If I needed to open more accounts and cards, I would not even raise an eyebrow. The spending of all accounts is combined on the main screen, and personally I like it more than digging separately for each card and account.

To transfer money to another person, I enter the number on the page Payments and that’s it. There is even a number recognition through the camera, so as not to waste time: point your smartphone, the number was considered, ready. Works great. I can pay via a QR code in the same place, using a separate button.

Utilities, debts, payment for home Internet – bills come directly to the “header” of the section Payments. Traffic police fines would also come if I drove a car. Convenient, smart buttons Favorite allow you to transfer money between my cards of other banks, transfer money to my mobile phone account or send it to important contacts.

People, here even via Bluetooth you can make a transfer to another user of the Tinkoff application. And if I continue to tell the features of the program, then we will stay here for a long time.

Support for SBP and QR payment appeared even when it was not fashionable

Tinkoff supported the SBP when it was not fashionable. We just implemented this feature in the usual money transfer interface. I remember that people did not understand why this was necessary. And time has put it in its place, wow!

Now I don’t even know if I use this system. I enter the number, I am immediately offered the recipient’s accounts. I choose the necessary bank, I enter the sum, I send. No “scrolling” through the list, no separate section for such transfers and other attempts to hide the key feature of a banking client.

And payment by QR was here so long ago that I already forgot that it even exists in the program. Until thunder struck, and I was suddenly asked at the checkout to pay for the accessory through a QR code. I thought that it would turn out to be more difficult, but in fact – I brought it, drove the amount, paid. Here’s the check, take it and go.

goes seventh yearlike this is my main debit card. I am sure there will be the eighth, and the ninth, and further down the list. I don’t know what has to happen for me to give up Tinkoff Black cards. I am completely satisfied, I carry a card in a magnetic cardholder with an iPhone and I don’t know any problems.

You can find fault, look for small flaws, yes. But when you look at the situation as a whole, you understand: how good it is when you have Tinkoff! So much has been happening lately, and here – like a safe havenwhere it is always calm and sunny.
