The former action brand Prey disappeared for a long time before Arcane launched a reboot in 2017. Anyone who has missed it so far can watch it for free soon.
So Epic Games has now announced the next free games in the in-house Epic Games Store – and they are quite impressive. The said sci-fi action game Prey is the headliner. The Arkane Studios title will be offered as a full version for PC completely free of charge next week.
In the game, you wake up on the Talos I space station, orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are part of an experiment that could change the history of mankind forever, but – you already guessed it – things are going badly wrong. The space station is overrun by hostile aliens and a fight for survival begins for you.
You can get Prey for free starting next Thursday – and then there’s also a second game with Jotun. This in turn is an isometric action game about all sorts of creatures from Norse mythology.
Anyone looking for new game material for this weekend can download Terraforming Mars from now until next Thursday. In the turn-based strategy game, you must make the otherwise hostile surface of Mars habitable. You have various resources and innovative technologies to choose from to raise the temperature and thus create an atmosphere including breathing air.
With Prey: Mooncrash, Bethesda has confirmed a new DLC for the successful action game.
