On the morning of June 4, the D2809 train at Rongjiang Station of the Gui-Guangzhou Line hit a mudslide and went off the line. The driver on duty, Yang Yong, unfortunately died. After on-board data analysis, driver Yang Yong found the line abnormal when the train arrived in the Yuezhai Tunnel before entering the Rongjiang Station, and took emergency braking measures within 5 seconds. After skating for more than 900 meters, it got off the line at Rongjiang Station. The anti-collision wall and the overall protection of the track structure of the high-speed railway prevent the train from overturning and falling. Yang Yong stopped the car decisively at the critical moment, put down the last brake in his life, and ensured the safety of the passengers in the car. On June 5, the soul returned to his hometown, and the masses spontaneously bid farewell. After all-out rescue and emergency repairs, the Rongjiang Station of the Guiguang Line completed the repair work of the line on the morning of June 5 and resumed normal operation. The newly exposed surveillance video shows that at 10:22, after the train exited the tunnel, the speed gradually decreased, and a suspected crash could be heard during the taxiing. By comparing the front and rear pictures, it can be seen that the front part is defective. In addition, the track about 150 meters away from the tunnel entrance has bent poles and guardrails, all of which are damaged. At the same time, there are also pictures of the previous train G2929 passing by 20 minutes apart.
