IT House May 6 news, today, BYD announced that the new car seal has 0.219Cd ultra-low drag coefficient. For comparison, the drag coefficient of the Han EV released by BYD before is 0.233Cd.

IT House has reported that after the launch of the new Han family, BYD began to warm up the new car “Seal”. BYD said that “Seal” adopts a new marine aesthetic design, which is light and vivid; the overall line presents the feeling of water ripples, which is elegant and surging.

Previously, BYD seals appeared in the list of new energy vehicle models (the fifty-third batch) exempted from vehicle purchase tax.

In terms of appearance, the BYD Seal adopts a closed air intake grille with raised cabin covers on both sides, a slip-back design on the side of the car, and a hidden door handle. The body size of the seal is 4800*1875*1460mm, and the wheelbase is 2920mm.

BYD Seal adopts BYD e-platform 3.0. In terms of power, according to the latest information disclosed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Seal will provide three models of battery life. The standard battery model is equipped with a 150kW rear motor, and the maximum cruising range under operating conditions is 550km; the long battery life version is equipped with a 230kW rear motor. The cruising range is 700km; the total power of the front and rear motors of the top four-wheel drive version is 390kW, and the maximum cruising range is 650km.0-100km/h acceleration in just 3.8 seconds.
