The Japanese company Flex has been specializing in the sale of used Toyotas for more than half a century. Sometimes she dabbles in preparation special series Renoca – Toyota in special tuning packages. Today I want to talk about some of them. A key feature of the improvements is the styling of cars under even older Toyotas.

For example, you have a Toyota Land Cruiser 80 manufactured from 1990 to 1994:

Bring the car to Flex and say, “Here’s my million yen, make it your Wonder No. 5 project.” The end result is this car:

As you can see, Flex redesigned the grille, headlights, bumpers, rear-view mirrors, door handles, as well as added sidewalls and changed wheels. The latter, by the way, have many variations. Flex also changes seat upholstery:

There is another version of the J80 design. I like her a lot more:

There is already a two-tone body coloring, nine different disks and even the ability to install roof rails for surfers. In addition, here you can install a pontoon steering wheel:

Similar processing can be done with the Toyota Land Cruiser 100, produced from 1998 to 2007. Let me remind you what this car looked like:

And here’s what Flex can do with it:

You can choose from 16 different exterior colors, two headlights and grille designs, seven different wheels. You can also raise the car two inches.

With a salon, there is a little less choice – only 12 different variations of seat upholstery. Here is some of them:

And finally, I’ll tell you about Pradik 90, which was produced from 1996 to 2000:

Flex suggests doing this:

Design options are wild. Here you can even install wooden panels. An interesting point: this version can be raised only two inches.

Here is another option. And this version can be raised as much as six inches:

Despite the relatively minor improvements, these packages are not cheap at all. Probably, the fact is that cars also go through the process of restoration. For example, the latest version shown in this text will cost approximately 3,180,000 to 3,580,000 yen, that is, $24,340 to $27,400. Prices vary depending on the year of manufacture and the condition of the original vehicle. But these cars in general cost 4.4 million yen (approximately $33,700). But for this money you will receive a ready-made car:

However, if you look at such projects, it becomes clear that in Japan the topic of cars from the 1970s is very fond of. And they love it when more modern cars are remade for those times. For example, Mitsuoka Motor made a lot of noise with their RAV4 tuning package:

Therefore, it is likely that Flex creations will find their buyer.
