When it comes to storage for, for example, cameras that constantly record, the lifespan of the storage is very important, Samsung already offers its Endurance microSD cards, but now they have once again surpassed themselves with the next generation Pro Endurance microSD cards that will last up to 16 years with continuous recording. At least for the 256 GB card. If you were to use the card for a dashcam in the car, this means that you will most likely need to change cars before you need to change SD cards. The 128 GB size should last for up to eight years according to Samsung. Earlier microSD cards from the manufacturer had a lifespan of five years, which is still higher than the average of two to four years.

All microSD cards can read at speeds up to 100 MB / s and write up to 40 MB / s.

Samsung Pro Endurance starts at 32 GB for 11 dollars and the largest card with 256 GB costs 55 dollars.

Samsung introduces UFS 4.0 storage

Offers double speeds compared to UFS 3.1

Samsung uses in its latest flagship headphones the storage technology UFS 3.1 which is already very fast storage, but now the company has surpassed itself and releases UFS 4.0 which will offer double the speeds, up to 23.2 Gbps. This should be perfect for 5G phones that can retrieve and process large amounts of data in a short amount of time. The storage itself uses Samsung’s latest 7th generation V-NAND which can offer write speeds of up to 4200 MB / s and read speeds of 2800 MB / s, while requiring 46 less energy than the previous generation. The largest size will be 1TB The company will start mass-producing UFS 4.0 during the third quarter of this year and they say that they are currently collaborating with various companies to integrate this into future products.
