Authorities have identified the motorist killed in a fiery one-car crash on Interstate 295 in South Jersey last week. Christopher D. Leaf, 34, of Pennsville Township, was traveling southbound near milepost 5.6 in Carneys Point Township around 10:30 p.m. on April 24 when his car left the roadway, according to New Jersey State Police. The car struck a tree and caught on fire. Leaf, who was alone in the vehicle, died of his injuries, police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Our journalism needs your support.
