MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics officers confiscated an estimated P1.08 million worth of shabu from two suspects in Navotas on Tuesday. Mark Joseph Nicandro, 34, and Jomar Jayona, 24, allegedly yielded 160 grams of shabu during a sting in Barangay Daanghari. Philippine National Police chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos said a hand grenade was also recovered from the suspects. The suspects allegedly negotiated a drug deal for P300 with a policeman who posed as a buyer. Police said they confiscated a cell phone, which the suspects allegedly used during the transaction.
