Over the past year, Roskomnadzor has been actively blocking more and more VPN services in Russia. This is not very good news for those who bought them. However, if you are just looking at which VPN to choose for yourself, then you should keep in mind that not every popular service can be bought.

To make it easier for you, we have collected all VPN services blocked in Russia in one list.

  • Browsec
  • Betternet
  • Nord VPN
  • VyprVPN
  • HolaVPN
  • ExpressVPN
  • KeepSolidVPN Unlimited
  • SpeedifyVPN
  • Vanish VPN
  • Opera VPN
  • XVPN
  • Tunnel Bear

In addition, users complained about the unavailability or unstable operation of Windscribe, Lantern and Cloudflare WARP (known as 1.1.1.1), but there was no official information about their blocking by Roskomnadzor.

And it is also worth considering that blocking does not at all mean 100% unavailability of the service. Some continue to function in a limited mode even after being included in the ILV list. However, they are hardly worth buying in the current circumstances.

Separately, we mention one more nuance. Information is spreading on the network that Roskomnadzor has blocked the Tor and Tor Browser services. However, this is not true. By the decision of the Saratov court, only the official website of the Tor Project was blocked (the courts are now underway), while the services themselves continue to work. Recently, the Russian authorities also demanded that Google remove the Tor Browser application from the official Play Store.

If we missed any other blocked VPN service, please indicate in the comments.
