German rescue services are to deploy a heavy-lifting crane weighing 250 tons on Sunday to lift the engine derailed during a fatal rail accident in the south of the country two days ago. The aim is also to remove an overturned carriage which was lifted up onto a nearby road on Saturday, a police spokesman said. The carriage might have to be cut up for transport, he added.
