The Day Before never ceased to impress us with his presentations. The MMO of Fntastic has a plastic that many other MMOs must envy, and we were then impatient to discover how all this would turn on our PCs from next June. But today the studio has very bad news to announce, which is still accompanied by an interesting detail for the future of the title.

New engine, but new date

In a press release relayed by IGNFntastic then declares that the development of The Day Before will finally go under the Unreal Engine 5. A surprising choice, given that the game seemed ready to be released in a month, but which must certainly be a bet on the durability of the game in the years to come, MMO obliges.

But inevitably, changing the engine causes a delay. We are then informed that the release of The Day Before is now set to March 1, 2023 :

Feeling and understanding the great responsibility we face, with immense gratitude in our hearts, we are happy to announce that The Day Before is moving to the new Unreal Engine 5 technology! The transition to a more advanced and responsive open worlds engine will make The Day Before gameplay even more fantastic. In this regard, we inform you that the new release date of the game will be March 1, 2023. »

A hell of a postponement that risks disappointing many, especially those who were planning to play it in just a few days. We will therefore take our troubles patiently and we will wait to see how the MMO is doing on this new engine.
