After “Warstride Challenges” conquered Steam Early Access, a PS5 version was announced today. It shows up with gameplay scenes in a trailer.

Following the release of the PC version via Steam Early Access, Focus Entertainment and Dream Powered Games announced a PS5 version of Warstride Challenges. A fast-paced first-person shooter awaits you, which sets you the task of completing various sections of the game as quickly as possible. The whole thing is shown in the gameplay trailer embedded below.

Deploys shockwaves

In addition to overcoming obstacles, sliding through crevices and hopping across platforms, there are various dangers to avoid and demons to kill. There is support from a feature that slows down time to better place shots. Added to this is the ability “Shockwave”, with which the number of enemies can be effectively decimated.

“In a race against time, master all challenges that come your way and unlock an arsenal of devastating weapons and abilities,” the creators write.

In “Warstride Challenges” you don’t have to be completely alone when hunting opponents. In addition to solo play, you can also expect Nemesis mode, in which you compete asynchronously against the ghosts of other players and try to beat their times. “Compete against friends and the community for the highest score and defeat the ghosts of other players online – even your favorite streamers.”

While the PS5 version has no release date yet, Warstride Challenges will remain in Early Access for a year. The title will receive new powers, weapons and abilities as well as a real-time multiplayer mode in the course of development. This means that what is shown in the video is by no means everything that you can expect from the title.
