We can’t stop Activision Blizzard which, after having (finally!) announced the launch of Diablo Immortal for June 2, is adding a new mobile game to its catalog. This time it’s about building on the Warcraft universeas announced earlier this year: Warcraft Arclight Rumble will be a real-time strategy game.
Even if the characters are indeed inspired by Warcraft, the graphic leg inevitably evokes toys. It’s even highlighted in the trailer above, which makes the heroes action figures whose arms can be replaced. It will be necessary to see on file what that gives: the title will first be proposed in closed betathen delivered to the general public on iOS and Android we don’t really know when.
As for the economic model, it’s alas freemium, but the publisher made a point of stressing that there will only be one “currency” in the game. There will be no artificial restriction on the content.
