According to information from Wccftech, all technical data for the upcoming refreshed graphics cards Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT and 6650 XT have now been published. In addition, a leaker claims to have determined data on Sapphire’s toxic and nitro line-ups of the new RDNA2 GPUs.
In less than a week, on May 10, AMD is scheduled to launch its new RDNA2 refresh graphics cards, which include the Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT, and 6650 XT. The Wccftech website now wants to know the final specifications of the Radeon RX 6X50 XT series. What is immediately striking is that the three cards have a higher board power (TBP) of 20 to 35 W compared to their predecessors (6900 XT, 6700 XT and 6600 XT).
RDNA2 refresh: clock rates, memory and board power
Instead of the previously rumored 350 W, the Radeon RX 6950 XT only has 335 W TBP, which is 35 W more than the Radeon RX 6900 XT and 5 W more than the Liquid Edition. The 6950 XT also leaves the 6900 XT behind in terms of clock speeds. The clock in games is 85 MHz higher here at 2100 MHz, while the turbo clock is said to take it to 2310 MHz, which would mean an increase of 60 MHz. The flagship of the RDNA2 refresh also has a higher effective memory transfer rate than the Radeon RX 6900 XT, which supposedly results in a higher memory speed of 18 Gbit/s

Not to forget the data of the Radeon RX 6750 XT and 6650 XT. The former is said to ship with 250 W TBP and be able to achieve a game clock of 2,495 MHz and a turbo clock of 2,600 MHz (71 and 19 MHz more than the Radeon RX 6700 XT, respectively). As with the 6950 XT, the memory speed is 18 Gbps according to Wccftech. The Radeon RX 6650 XT accounts for 180W of board power, which in turn would be 20W more than the TBP of the 6600 XT. On the gaming and turbo clock side, the Radeon RX 6650 XT should reach 2,410 and 2,635 MHz respectively, i.e. 51 and 46 MHz more than its predecessor.
Sapphire Radeon RX 6950 XT Toxic – clock rates and TGP
Information about Sapphire’s Toxic and Nitro lineups of the Radeon RX 6X50 series has also emerged from a leaker on the Chiphell forums. These are compiled in a table and are intended to show that the TGP value (total graphics performance of GPU and memory) of an air-cooled Toxic model of the 6950 XT from Sapphire comes close to the TBP value.

According to the leaker from the Chiphell forum, the TGP is 332 W. As a reminder: the TBP is only slightly above that. According to the leaker, there should also be no Radeon RX 6950 XT with water cooling. It is also claimed that the Radeon RX 6950 XT Toxic from Sapphire should be able to achieve a turbo clock of 2,565 MHz in OC mode, which would be 255 MHz above AMD’s reference boost.

The table from the Chiphell forum also shows the clock rates and TGP values of the Nitro+ Special Edition and the Nitro+ OC variant of the Radeon RX 6950 XT. The same goes for the Nitro+ OC Radeon RX 6750-XT and 6650-XT. The supposed data can be found in the table above.
