IT House May 4 news, according to MacRumors reports, Apple today released Studio Display’s new “iOS 15.5” firmware Beta 2 beta version, the specific version number is (19F5070b), the software was released a week after the Beta 1 release. Studio Display firmware is designed to improve the functionality of the webcam on the device.
All Studio Display models are capable of receiving over-the-air firmware updates, but this firmware update is limited to Macs currently running macOS Monterey 12.4 Beta. After installing macOS 12.4 Beta, Studio Display users can go to System Preferences > Software Update to install the firmware.
Apple committed to a firmware update for the Studio Display in March to fix the webcam issue.
Studio Display features a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with centered portrait support, but Studio Display reviewers and users found the camera consistently produced grainy, washed-out images, which Apple said was the system not functioning as expected. The firmware brings updated “camera adjustments, improved noise reduction, contrast and framing”.
