Demakes of popular games are always a nice touch. For example, in the past we’ve enjoyed the PS1 demake of From Software’s Bloodborne, which you can now play on your PC. The God of War, which was released in 2018, also awakens in this one PS1 demake pure nostalgia. However, it’s not that common that a game gets a working, playable demake within a few months of release, which incidentally also runs on the right hardware.

Elden Ring demake released for all Gameboy consoles

This achievement was now rendered by YouTuber Shintendowhich just today its demake to Elden Ring (buy now /€50.99 ) released for the Game Boy. Not only can you play the game on the Developer’s Itch.io page It’s very easy to play in the browser, and the title can actually be played on all Gameboy consoles, emulators, and the fairly new Analogue Pocket. All you have to do is download the file and drag it to a suitable flash cart.

Shintendo has released Stormveil Castle, Northern Limgrave, and Precipice of Anticipation for its Elden Ring demake so far, but according to the Itch.io page’s description, there may well be some more updates for the fan project. So if you’ve been dissatisfied with the graphical splendor of Elden Ring, just download the game for your Gameboy. The YouTuber also shared his new demake on Reddit, where he understandably managed to delight numerous fans.
