If you have followed the news of the title since its announcement in September 2020, the following announcement should not really surprise you. While players were delighted to know that the Prince of Persia would be making a comeback with the remake of the excellent episode The Sands of Time, the joy was ultimately short-lived with the presentation of a game to the direction frankly failed artistic.

Three months later, Ubisoft announced a first postponement of the game, then a second, to finally no longer give a release date. We then feared the worst, before the rumors spoke squarely of a change of studio to save the project. Corridor noise made official more than a year later since the French publisher announced that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is in development at Ubisoft Montreal.

A reassuring communication which should presage a new presentation of the game in the weeks or months to come. It is in any case the second project saved by Ubisoft Montreal since the Canadian studio had also been given the mission to save the soldier Skull & Bones last year.
