Another glitch was discovered in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Truly a game of unlimited possibilities and discoveries.

The latest glitch spotted by YouTube channel Gaming Reinvented deals with metallic treasure chests in Hyrule.

Cracked in a different way

You may know them, they often contain rare clothing or important items. With a little trick they can be blown open.

To do this, you must use the cannons located in the Goron city of Goronia and on Mount Death in the Eldin region.

How do you do it? Simply load one of the cannons with a bomb, then use your magnetic ability to move one of the crates into position and use that cannon to blast it into pieces.

Unexpected results

Unfortunately, what sounds like an easy way to get rare items is not quite as effective.

While blowing up the chests will result in contents from them lying around, they will just lie and float around where you blasted the chest.

You cannot move them and unfortunately you cannot interact with them either.

So yes, we’re dealing with a new glitch, but unfortunately it doesn’t give you any real benefits. At least now we know it’s possible to blow up those chests.
