Should you be craving a very rare Apple computer, an Apple-1 will now be sold at auction again. It was the first computer Apple founder Steve “Woz” Wozniak designed for Apple in 1976 and it was sold as a kit for $ 666.

Only 200 Apple-1s were manufactured and of these, about 80 are still left today. The copy that is now sold at auction must be in exceptionally good condition and also have been signed by Woz. The value of the computer is believed to be around 460,000 – 495,000 dollars, but it is not impossible that the final price will be higher than that.

The rare Apple computer is sold by Apple collector Jimmy Grewal, who runs the web-based Apple Museum AAPL Collection. The money Grewal receives from the sale, he hopes to be able to use to be able to display the rest of his Apple collection in physical form, either through a permanent museum or various pop-up exhibitions.

Should you be eager to place a bid on the computer so it can be found on eBay here. The auction runs until June 12 and at the time of writing the highest bid is around 98,000 dollars, corresponding to a little over 950,000 Swedish kronor.

Below you can check out when AAPL Collections founder Jimmy Grewal met Woz in Dubai and got his Apple-1 signed by the Apple founder.
