A South Carolina-based pharmaceutical company recalled 2.1 million doses of medicine and medical equipment because of a “lack of assurance of sterility,” according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company, Nephron Sterile Compounding Center, is recalling 2,158,351 products, including syringes and bags.
