By David Wetzel New York (Knewz) — Following mass shootings in Uvalde, Texas and Buffalo, New York last month, the House Oversight Committee will host parents of victims and survivors to discuss gun violence next week. Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney D-N.Y., the committee chairwoman, announced June 3 that her group will host families affected by the shootings at 10 a.m. June 8. Twenty-one people, including 19 children at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde were killed on May 24, just 10 days after a gunman killed 10 people at a supermarket in Buffalo.
