The same Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a battery in each of the halves, and their total capacity was 3300 mAh. Such a battery and operating time is a weak point and with moderate use you can get about a day of work. To the disappointment of clamshell fans, the new generation will not get rid of this shortcoming.

It is reported that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will also retain the design of two batteries and their total capacity will be 3400 mAh. Against the background of its predecessor, an increase of 100 mAh is insignificant and will definitely not give an increase in terms of autonomy.

It remains to be hoped that a small increase in the duration of work can be achieved by installing an energy-efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chip. It is based on 4nm technology from TSMC, which features improved performance in terms of energy saving than offered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, manufactured using Samsung’s 4nm process technology.
