ROME (Reuters) – Italy’s government plans to set aside around 7 billion euros ($7.35 billion) over three years to help construction firms cope with raw material costs and high energy prices, a draft decree seen by Reuters on Monday showed. Rome aims to earmark 3 billion euros this year, 2.55 billion in 2023 and 1.5 billion in 2024, under the scheme. ($1 = 0.9522 euros) (Reporting by Giuseppe Fonte, editing by Gavin Jones)
