In April, the Atlas VPN service published interesting statistics: it became known that the number vulnerabilities in Apple products increased by 467 in the second half of 2021 to 380. Basically, scammers find the most weaknesses in Safari and the Apple operating systems themselves on different devices. Again, in this minus ecosystems – products are interconnected with each other, which means that one vulnerability can affect all devices.

True, the company quickly fixes these vulnerabilities by releasing iOS updates. That is why we always recommend installing new versions of the operating system, even if they do not contain functional innovations. Therefore, in general iOS is considered the most secure platform – there are many more of them in other Microsoft and Huawei products.

How to hack iPhone

When it comes to hacking an iPhone, you need to understand that this is a fairly broad concept. In the case of an Apple smartphone, hacking can mean:

• Using someone else’s iPhone remotely.
• Gaining access to someone else’s information that is on the iPhone.
• Refinement of the iPhone using software – jailbreak.
• Selecting and entering a password to unlock someone else’s iPhone.

As mentioned above, jailbreak is one of the varieties of hacking, but it is not yet possible to do this on iOS 15: six months after the release of the system, attempts ended in nothing. Another thing is malware. The App Store hasn’t always been safe, and has occasionally featured dubious spyware apps. But all attempts were quickly thwarted.

However, these features require manual access, so be careful about app permissions. Regularly go to “Privacy” and check which applications you have given access to the camera, contacts and geolocation. Is it possible to hack an iPhone without knowing the password

Last year, the famous hacker MG introduced a new hack cable: it looks like a regular Lightning, works with other devices, but inside it there is a “Trojan” chip in one of the plugs. The hacker embedded a chip with a Wi-Fi module that allows you to remotely communicate with the cable and perform various actions, such as changing the keyboard layout, spoofing data, and much more. The range was almost 2 kilometers, and the cable itself is no different from the original.

It’s not easy to hand over data in this way, but here’s another phobia for you. That is why it is better to overpay for the original from Apple. In any case, turn on the restricted access mode – no one can connect to your iPhone via USBif more than an hour has passed since the last unlock.
