  • 380,000 kilometers away from home, working on the lunar surface for 42 months and days, “Yutu No. 2” has traveled a total of 1,181 meters.

IT House has learned that the “Zhurong” is a Mars rover for the Tianwen-1 mission. It was launched from the Long March 5 Yao-4 carrier rocket at the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China on July 23, 2020, and was launched in May 2021. On the 22nd, it reached the surface of Mars and began to patrol and probe. On August 23, 2021, the Zhurong rover safely spent 100 days on Mars, with a mileage of over 1,000 meters.

“Yutu-2” is the Chang’e-4 mission lunar rover, which arrived on the far side of the moon on January 3, 2019. On January 6, 2022, the mileage of the “Yutu No. 2” lunar rover exceeded 1,000 meters.
