Valve now announces that the upcoming docking station for Steam Deck has been delayed due to lack of parts and covid 19 shutdowns in the company’s production facilities.
Valve writes that they are working to improve the situation and will provide more information as soon as they know something. In the meantime, they will be working on improvements to dock Steam Deck with USB-C connections and monitors.
The dock delay does not affect the production schedule and reservation windows for Steam Deck units that use other parts and factories.
