Peter Parker and Miles Morales take over our cans later this year.

A little unexpected with very welcome news during tonight’s State of Play event was that Insomniac’s two Spider-Man games will no longer be Playstation exclusive, as they are on their way to PC. This is the first game, whose PC version is called Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredand its spinoff, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The first game also includes the DLC The City That Never Sleeps, which adds a few extra chapters to the story.

The port is Nixxes Software, which was acquired by Sony precisely to promote the company’s investment in PCs. The utlovas support for both control and mouse + keyboard, in addition to adjustable graphics settings, including ray tracing. Pretty obvious stuff, and they promise to share more features and details later.

And we also do not have to wait very long, because the first game will be released on August 12 this year, while Miles Morales will swing into our mother modem sometime this fall.
