Another Apple store in the United States is considering organizing. Specifically, the Apple Store in the Towson Mall in Maryland.
Earlier this year, workers at the Apple Store in the Grand Central Terminal in New York City also began collecting signatures, and an Apple store near Atlanta, Georgia has submitted the official paperwork to the National Labor Relations Board, NLRB.
The Washington Post writes that the workers at Towson Mall in Maryland have so far received signatures from over 65 percent of the employees and plan to send the paperwork to NLRB in a few days.
The workers’ hope is that this will give them more say in current matters such as covid-19 safety, working hours and compensation.
Apple has not commented on it all.
