IT House learned that Dunhua Power Station is located in the north of Dunhua City, Jilin Province, 111 kilometers away from Dunhua City.Total installed capacity of 1.4 million kilowattsinstall 4 reversible pump-hydrogenerator units with a single unit capacity of 350,000 kilowatts,The designed annual power generation is 2.342 billion kWh, and the annual pumped power is 3.123 billion kWhconnected to Jilin power grid with 500kV outgoing line.
National Grid said,Dunhua Power Station realized localization of 700-meter ultra-high head pumped storage unit for the first time. In addition, the first unit of Dunhua Power Station will be put into operation in June 2021. Up to now, 4 units have been started up 2,073 times, generating 975 million kWh of electricity and 1.285 billion kWh of pumped electricity.
