Console includes 50 games from Mega Drive and Mega CD
At a live broadcast in Japan, Sega announced a new Mega Drive Mini 2 retro console. As it became known from the presentation, 50 games from the classic Sega and its Mega CD disc version will be built into the console. And if the availability of games from the Mega Drive in our country is not surprising, then Sega, which worked on disks, was a real rarity. Perhaps some will be able to play projects from the 90s for the first time.
The company presented a small list of approved games:
- Silpheed (Mega CD)
- Shining Force CD (Mega CD)
- Sonic CD (Mega CD)
- Mansion of Hidden Souls (Mega CD)
- Popful Mail (Mega CD)
- Virtua Racing (Mega Drive)
- Bonanza Bros (Mega Drive)
- Shining in the Darkness (Mega Drive)
- Thunder Force IV (MegaDrive)
- Magical Taruruto (Mega Drive)
- Fantasy Zone (updated port for Mega Drive)
By the way, this is not the first attempt to awaken nostalgia in the hearts of gamers. The first version of the mini-console was released in 2019 and contained 42 classic games from the Sega Mega Drive.
