When Claude Quenot looks out of the window, all he can see are the saw-tooth ridges of mountains towering in every direction. Quenot runs a mountain hut high in the Alps. Above him are rocky peaks, while below is the small town of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, nestled in the valley.
