Netizens bought the unreleased Pixel 7 Pro: it was remotely locked and bricked by Google after three weeks of use

On June 2, according to 9to5Google, a netizen said in the Reddit community that he bought a Google Pixel 7 Pro prototype from Facebook Marketplace.

The seller may have said that the device was a “Google Pixel 6 Pro” in order to avoid being checked by Google, but netizens found that it was an unreleased Pixel 7 Pro after receiving the goods.

The netizen said,His Pixel 7 Pro was locked by Google after three weeks, the data on the phone was wiped remotely, and the phone is currently stuck in “Fast Mode” and cannot be used.

9to5Google pointed out that it can be seen from the “Fast Mode” mode of the mobile phone that the phone is code-named “Cheetah”, which confirms that this is an unreleased Pixel 7 Pro.

According to reports, Google Pixel 7 Pro uses a 6.7-inch 2K OLED screen, supplied by Samsung, equipped with the second-generation Tensor chip, three rear cameras, including main camera, ultra-wide-angle and periscope telephoto, and pre-installed Android 13 system .
