The developers of Anno 1800 have released update 14.1. The patch primarily brings bug fixes such as crashes and gameplay bugs.

Update 14.1 for Anno 1800 will be available for download on May 3rd at 2 p.m. No download size was mentioned in advance this time. However, since these are mainly bug fixes, the update should not be too big. In particular, two game crashes have been fixed, but also some bugs that appeared with Update 14 and Season 4 have been removed.

balancing

  • Fertilizer production time reduced from 5:30 min and output storage increased from 1 to 5

gameplay

  • Fixed an issue where the game would not launch and get stuck on a black screen on Intel Core i9-10980XE CPUs
  • Fixed a game crash that occurred when selecting all ships when selecting a ship for an expedition
  • Added a fix to prevent all achievements from being unlocked when starting the game after the release of Seed of Hope
a notice: This will prevent the issue from occurring for players who haven’t started the game since GU 14. We are working on a fix to fix it retrospectively for users already affected. However, this is taking a little longer and will be fixed in a future update.
  • Fixed an issue where fertile soil did not affect animal farm productivity in the scenario (The Silver Cage)
  • Fixed an issue where Mad Hatter was consuming Cotton Cloth instead of Linen (The Silver Cage)
  • Fixed an issue where oil wells on a secondary island would disappear when trying to build a winding tower (The Silver Cage)

multiplayer

  • Fixed an issue that could cause desyncs when unlocking achievements in multiplayer

quests

  • Fixed issue where quests that required picking up items or goods from islands didn’t work (End of Eden)
  • Fixed an issue where the gold reward would not unlock for some players (The Silver Cage)
a notice: To unlock gold you have to start a new scenario. It’s not enough to load a save where you’ve already achieved bronze or silver. This is by design: the same is true for silver. Again, the reward cannot be “catched up” in the same save game in which bronze was already achieved.
