A look at the official Lost Ark forum is enough to see that the mood is still bad. Apparently there were unexpectedly long queues on some servers recently. Are the numerous bots to blame?

The mood in the Lost Ark official forums remains bad. That also has the emotional announcement by community moderator Shadow_Fox in the past week of April nothing changed. The current issue revolves around the sudden return of very long queues and the numerous bots believed to be to blame for this problem.

Suddenly long queues, what’s going on?

Lost Ark has now been on the European and US markets for almost three months. We’re also – unsurprisingly – quite a long way from the launch peak of 1.3 million Arkesia heroes playing at the same time. Nevertheless, the 24-hour peak with 586,540 Steam users playing at the same time is impressive.

However, that doesn’t explain why there were unexpected queues on various servers last weekend. Several players then made posts in the forum: example 1, example 2, Example 3, example 4, Example 5. Findings from the posts:

  • Queue sizes vary widely. There is a lot from a moderate 630 players in queue up to 11,000.
  • Many players are reporting that the queues have been moving very slowly. It took forever to finally be able to log in.
  • The player from the server with 630 players reports that since week 2 Lost Ark (buy now €19.99) Plays on this realm and has never queued there. When he had to register again yesterday, the queue there was already in the four-digit range (1,450+).
  • Many of those affected are sure that the numerous bots are to blame for the queues.
