By Tzvi Machlin North Carolina forward Kerwin Walton found minutes hard to come by in his second year with the Tar Heels. So he’s entering the transfer portal in hopes of finding a new home. The former four-star forward from Minnesota started 20 games and played in 29 as a freshman in the 2020-21 season. He averaged 8.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists that year. But the 2021-22 season saw him get just one start in 31 games. He averaged less than 15 minutes per game and less than four points a game. Tar Heels fans are sad to see him go though.
