PlayStation Plus June: Sony offers heavy before the redesign of its service

It’s the last month before the clash of the titans begins. The new PlayStation Plus plans are just days away, and subscribers have been patiently awaiting that moment when Sony officially introduces its competitor to Xbox Game Pass. But in the meantime, we still have to satisfy their appetite for video games by offering them three titles which are, once again, at the top of the scale.

The game of the year 2018

The first game offered is the Big and Loud god of war (2018). This is the fourth installment in the series, following the first three but which acts as a bit of a reboot since it transports us to a universe totally different from the Ancient Greek World: Norse mythology. Kratos is now faced with himself and must take care of his son Atreus, but is not necessarily welcome in this world which is supposed to help him mourn his wife.

The second game offered is perfectly tailored for budding ninjas. It is Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, a title in which you compete 4 vs 4 in a fast-paced combat online mode. Choose your favorite ninja and go into battle with your favorite squad or total strangers.

Finally, if you don’t have enough fight like that, you can always try to Nickelodeon All Star Brawlaka the Super Smash Bros. which contains the characters of our favorite cartoons. We also tested it when it was released, and found it to be excellent.

How to get these games?

As a reminder, PlayStation Plus is a subscription service offered by Sony on its consoles giving you access each month to free downloadable games, often three or four in number, and allows you to play multiplayer games online. The basic subscription is available at the price of 8.99€ per month, 24.99€ per quarter or 59.99€ per year.

All these titles will be available in the catalog from June 7th from 11 a.m. For those who still haven’t gotten the May games, don’t forget to do so before May 6th. These are the titles FIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard and Curse of the Dead Gods.

At the end of the month, on June 23 precisely, Sony will make its new PlayStation Plus formulas effective, so a lot of things will change, except for those who do not wish to upgrade their subscription. Players who simply wish to keep their current perks won’t have to do anything, they will automatically be switched to the Essential formula that does not change your habits.

Finally, PlayStation Now subscribers will also no longer have access to their account since the service will have merged with PlayStation Plus. You will be automatically switched to a Premium subscription (the most expensive) until the end of your two subscriptions PS Plus and PS Now. The longest duration is taken into account.
