IT House May 2 news, according to Sammobile news, Samsung released the first 200MP camera sensor ISOCELL HP1 sensor for mobile devices in the world last year, and is now developing its successor ISOCELL HP3.

While the ISOCELL HP1 sensor is reportedly not yet used in any smartphones, its successor is already in development, and there are no details on the sensor’s pixel size, optical format, or video recording support.

IT House has reported that in September last year, Samsung released ISOCELL HP1, which isSamsung’s first mobile image sensor to support 200M pixels (200Mp),Based on Samsung 0.64μm technology.

In pursuit of low-light shooting results, ISOCELL HP1 uses the new ChameleonCell technology. As a pixel synthesis technology, it can adopt 4×4, 2×2 or full pixel mode according to the usage environment. In poor lighting conditions,ISOCELL HP1 by combining 16 adjacent pixels, which becomes a 12.5Mp image sensor with 2.56μm large pixels. The synthesized 2.56μm large pixel absorbs more light and has higher sensitivity.

The ISOCELL HP1 is capable of shooting 8K video at 30 frames per second (fps) and can shoot 8K (7680×4320) video without cropping or downscaling the full resolution by reducing the resolution to 50Mp or 8192×6144 by merging 4 adjacent pixels. Image Resolution.
