The new versions of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple are revealed even more in a new trailer. A release date has even been announced! New Pokémon, legendary, multiplayer, characters… We take stock of all the new features that have been announced.
We finally know more about the new Pokémon releases. The Pokémon Company has just given fans a brand new trailer (available above) with lots of information about Pokémon Scarlet and Purple. First of all, the release date for the games has been set for November 18 on Nintendo Switch.
As for Pokémon, Poussacha (Grass-type), Chochodile (Fire-type), and Coiffeton (Water-type) are the three new starter Pokémon. The trailer also revealed the new Legendary Pokémon: Koraidon and Miraidon. Resembling dragons, they can be seen at the end perched on the tops of the mountains. Koraidon will be exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet and Miraidon to Pokémon Purple.
On the character side, fans were able to discover a glimpse of the two new teachers: Olim and Turum. Olim will be a character exclusive to the Scarlet and Turum version of Pokémon Purple.
We also got to meet Menzi, the main character’s friend and rival. This experienced and trustworthy trainer will serve as your guide throughout your adventure. New Pokémon have also been unveiled including Olivini, Gourmelet and Pohm.
These Pokémon versions will therefore be entirely in the open world. Additionally, Scarlet and Violet may well include a 4-player co-op mode. So, are you looking forward to discovering these new versions?
