At 22:00 on April 30, the satellite ground receiving stations located in Guangzhou and Urumqi successfully received the first images returned by Siwei Gaojing-1 01 and 02 satellites respectively.The objects in the image have clear texture details, true colors and rich layers. The sky-earth link and ground system are running stably, and the satellite has entered the in-orbit test phase.

Siwei Gaojing-1 01 and 02 satellites are the first satellites of China Siwei’s new-generation commercial remote sensing satellite system. The system will be fully completed in 2025. The space segment plans to launch a total of 28 satellites of “16+4+8”, including: 16 One 0.5-meter-resolution optical satellite, four 0.7-meter-resolution wide-format optical satellites, and eight 1-meter-resolution SAR satellites, synchronously build a matching “four-dimensional cloud”-based ground segment (including measurement and control, reception, processing, and application) . In the future, it can be expanded to 56 satellites according to market development.

After the completion of the new-generation commercial remote sensing satellite system of China Siwei, it will have a high revisit capability of 25 times a day around the world, a high acquisition capability with a daily acquisition area of ​​more than 30 million square kilometers, and an emergency delivery capability within 2 hours.
