May 4th is fast approaching, and as you know, it’s an important date for Star Wars fans. That’s why Apple is teasing a new Behind the Mac video featuring artists from Skywalker Sound, due out in a few days.

On May 4, follow a Mac to Skywalker Sound to meet artists who make sounds from a galaxy far, far away.

In this 68-second teaser, Apple shows the process of creating the iconic sounds of the Star Wars franchise.

“If you closed your eyes and just listened to the sounds, would you be able to identify the film and where we are in the film? Everything is so… iconic,” someone says as we listen to the sounds of R2-D2, Chewbacca, and a lightsaber.

This special episode of Behind the Mac will air next week on May 4th. This date has become so important to Star Wars fans because of the similarity of the franchise’s catchphrase: “May the Force be with you.”

With this series, Apple is trying to promote creators and other professionals who use Macs to edit movies, create music and 3D objects, and more.

However, the end of the transition from Intel Macs to the company’s own silicon is another big highlight of how good the Mac is for professional users.
