Nintendo Switch Sports is now available on nintendo-switch. If for now, the game only moderately convinced us (to see our test), the fact remains that it is a title with strong commercial potential. Obviously, it’s a title that is played exclusively with Joy-Con and which therefore is not basic compatible with the Nintendo Switch Lite, the handheld-only version of the console. However, if you have a pair of Joy-Con handy, you can still use the Nintendo Switch Lite as a screen, and therefore play the game. However, in local mode, you will only be able to play it solo. This has been confirmed by several players, in particular on Twitter by a certain Akfamilyhome who posted a screenshot of the message that appears when trying to connect multiple pairs of Joy-Cons. As a result, the same message will be displayed if you attempt to play multiplayer in Tabletop mode with other Nintendo Switch models. Even if you own a Nintendo Switch – OLED modelwith its large and beautiful screen, you will not be able to play two in local mode at Nintendo Switch Sports. So some players will tell you that it may be better and that it even makes sense, but it is better to be warned before getting the game.

As a reminder, Nintendo Switch Sports is available on nintendo-switch from next April 29. For more details see our dedicated news and our complete test.
